  3. Cool video but Ellis himself found that the product had abysmally high approval from its users. So, is it any wonder whatever marketing mumbo-jumbo he did, had a huge success?

  4. 250 MB was not “the equivalent of a hard-drive's worth of storage ” in 2008. I think you meant 250 GB, and Dropbox wasn't offering that much space

  5. Dropbox was a great utility and stayed out of peoples way and worked in the background… and it WORKED. Unlike skydrive (now onedrive), which was a poor cousin. it didnt need too much “growth hacking” because it took an existing idea and improved on it so much that added tons of value to peoples lives.
