Hey YouTube Fam

Been a while since I’ve created content that was strictly native to YouTube, so I wanted to take a second to sit down and address you guys in a more “raw” style vlog… Please let me know if you guys have any suggestions for the channel in the comments below.

Thank you for watching this video. I hope that you keep up with the daily videos I post on the channel, subscribe, and share your learnings with those that need to hear it. Your comments are my oxygen, so please take a second and say ‘Hey’ ;).

  2. I have no idea if GV will read this, but fuck it, here goes whatever. I'm pretty damn sure that your words have helped people become successful in their lives, and that's fan-fucking-tastic and I am happy for those people. I do believe that you've made people believe in themselves and helped them become motivated … but I don't always see that as a good thing. Sometimes one person is only ever good at one thing, you have so much influence and can make them believe if they try hard enough they'll succeed in that one thing … but so many people need to understand that there's a big possibility that they'll never make it. One can be so .. almost mindlessly motivated to strive for what they want (Bare with me as I try to make sense here) that in the long run, after failing so many times and being put down each time, it can damage them.

I hate to do this and sound pathetic, but I'll use myself as an example.

I've only ever been good at one thing, and to make a career out of that one thing is almost impossible, but of course can be done. Using motivation, bettering myself everyday either in a physical, mental or emotional way, realising that this world and no one on it but me gives a fuck about me .. I strived so that one day I could have that career and live my dream. I failed, again and again and again, being told by people that I'm not good enough or what I do just doesn't interest people anymore. Using every tool I have to be the person I want to be … I eventually ware them out or I loose them.

I understand that I'm ranting and being petty. I understand that everyone reading this comment is probably shaking their head and telling me to get a life. I understand that a lot of people will say that I'm a giant asshole or just a complete fucking idiot … or both and more. And I definitely understand that maybe I'm just fucking sad and angry and just so fucking tired that I'll probably give up pretty damn soon … how ever that plays out. But fuck it. This kind of motivation can help lives, but it can also destroy them and leave them with absolutely fucking nothing.

I don't disparage what you do. I know what you do is fucking amazing. I just want you to know that it can be dangerous sometimes.

To all the people who have succeeded or is succeeding because of this, I'm damn fucking happy for you. Keep it up. Keep well. Do awesome things.
