Top Ten Success Secrets from Clickfunnels Millionaires

A quick summary of the “One Funnel Away” Virtual Summit

Russell Brunson interviewed 30 millionaires (his 2 Comma Club winners who made a million off a single Clickfunnel) and asked them to break down their 30-day plans for what they would do and how they would do it if they suddenly lost everything (no product, no money, no email list). Then he released these interviews to the world in his free 30 Days Virtual Summit, but each set of 10 interviews was only available for 24 hours!

I attended and the info was staggeringly valuable — I also experienced firsthand that it was impossible to get through all 30 videos in 3 days. So I compiled a list of the most common themes that were mentioned over and over again, and created a list of their Top Ten tips PLUS action plans recommended by these millionaires.

Good news for those that missed out and are now dealing with extreme FOMO — they decided to do an encore presentation and released all videos for free again, available TODAY ONLY until midnight. You need to register here to get access.

Top 10 Common Themes + Action Plans!

1. Set goals — yes, this is basic, but still staggeringly important. If you don’t take the time to clarify what exactly you want to accomplish by the end of your 30 days, then how will you achieve it? Mine is to launch an online mini-course, so everything I’ll be doing in the next 30 days will be tracking toward that end goal.
Action plan: Set your 30-day goal, outline the daily actions you’ll need to take to get there and think about how you can use social media to maximize what you’re doing.

2. Niche down — this is common advice for any business you’re in. You need to identify what’s missing in the marketplace you’re targeting, figure out who your ideal customer would be, identify their pain points, and then develop a product or offering to solve that pain.
Action plan: Work out who you’re serving, research your audience, and design your value ladder that addresses the problems you’re going to solve for your customer.

3. Partner up — create Joint Ventures with people who already have the audiences you’re targeting. This could consist of doing a guest webinar in their Facebook Group or appearing on their podcast and offering pure value (no pitch) to their audiences. This is known as “authority jacking” and it’s not a bad thing, because it allows you to massively increase your reach while offering your unique expertise, for free!
Action plan: Reach out to Facebook Group owners/admins in your niche and offer to do a free masterclass.

4. Get free testimonials — Offer something you can give for free, such as a one-hour coaching call or “power hour” business strategy call. At the end of the call, ask your prospect if they feel they got value from it and if they answer in the affirmative, ask for a video testimonial on the spot (assuming you’re using something like Zoom and recording the call). Then you can use the testimonial everywhere to help you get paid clients — use in organic posts, Facebook ads, your website, your clickfunnels.
Action plan: Create your free offer and send emails to past clients or people from your LinkedIn connections to pitch them with it. Make sure to record the testimonials and then create a plan for how you will use them.

5. Tweak/review — As with everything in marketing, doing A/B split tests of whatever you’re putting out there (clickfunnels, Facebook ads) to attract new clients or customers will save you a lot of time and money. If something isn’t working, you can make adjustments and double down on what IS working.
Action plan: If you’re running Facebook ads, create at least 10 different headlines for the same ad and test all of them. Swap out images and try different copy in the body of the ad too. If you’re making a Clickfunnel, they make it very easy to add in a split test — do 2 versions of each page of your clickfunnel with different headlines, images/videos, and copy.

6. Create a no-brainer/zero risk offer — Come up with an offer related to your business (ex: a discount on a physical product, free or low-cost group coaching sessions that offer massive value), think about what people actually want and how you can deliver that. Think about how it relates to basic human desires: more money, more freedom, more happiness. For example: 1 on 1 coaching with you would be the highest possible offer on the value ladder if you’re a business coach, but isn’t scalable long-term. But there is so much value in it to your prospects that it becomes an irresistible, no-brainer offer.
Action plan: Come up with a zero risk offer that someone would be MAD not to take. Think about how you will scale it or convert it to a paid offer once you get clients in the door.

7. Develop your personal brand — No matter what you’re selling, having a crystal clear concept of who and what you want to offer will bring people to you like a magnet. This is what Russell Brunson refers to in his book Expert Secrets as The Attractive Character. This term comes from a personal branding perspective and it refers to the ability to attract more people to you, and it’s based on you sharing your personal story and your REAL personality. You’ve heard this elsewhere, but it’s just a basic truth that people respond best to those who are authentic, and REAL. So you need to bring your whole self into your brand — don’t be afraid to share things that won’t resonate with everybody. This is what you want because you are looking for your tribe. Remember…your vibe attracts your tribe.
Action plan: Determine what you stand for and what you don’t, and be unapologetic about it. Incorporate this into your branding, your social profiles, your posts, your videos, your messaging. Come up with a messaging and posting strategy based on this — it will help you stand out from your competition.

8. FOCUS (Focus On One Course Until Success) — This acronym can be accredited to the book “The One Thing” by Gary Keller — and multiple 2 Comma Club winner and podcast host John Lee Dumas referenced this heavily in his interview but many other millionaires had their own version of the same advice. You must block out all other distractions while you work to fulfill your 30-day goal — -this means no more getting distracted by “shiny object syndrome” and it would be helpful to turn off all social media and email notifications while you’re in this hyper-focused growth mode. You can’t afford to veer off your path. Put your blinders on.

Action plan: Do whatever you need to do to block yourself off from distractions — -change your environment, maybe work in a friend’s house or office for a period of time, only read email at set times, turn off all app notification…whatever it takes. Then first focus HARD on finding your perfect customer avatar to ensure you can get the right content out to the right people. This is by far the most important step of the process. Write 500–2000 words about who this person is, their pain points, and how YOU are going to solve them.

9. Give value back to the marketplace: This is another really basic concept that nearly all millionaires talk about because it really should be THE reason behind why you’re doing what you’re doing. Since in this scenario you are starting from scratch and don’t have a big platform, it’s even more important to start by building goodwill with your target audience.
Action plan: Create a great lead magnet to engage with people for free, this could be helping them with their media & PR. Share free tips and your expertise both on LinkedIn and on Facebook Live — you can build an audience this way without paid advertising.

10. Be prepared: Another one that may seem like a no-brainer. But when it comes to launches, especially launching a high-ticket offering online, you should aim to have as much completed in the backend of your launch. Launches are super-stressful and you can assume that things will go wrong. Being prepared will remove a lot of the potentials for launch glitches to throw you off course.
Action plan: Have all your email sequences written and loaded in your email management software ahead of time. Have email swipe files to give to any influencers or affiliates you’ve enlisted to help promote you. Draw your whole launch out on a whiteboard, establish the wireframe and then fill out all the details (ex: Send 100 ebooks to X people). Do test purchases and enlist someone to help you with all the backend stuff who has this skill set if you don’t.

Take Action!

OK, these are your Top 6 tips from Day One — I hope this was useful! One final key piece of advice, that I am certain ALL 30 millionaires would tell you is to take action every single day. Make sure you’re not just watching webinars all day and ending up with an overworked brain that’s spinning out on information.

Create action steps for yourself every single day to make sure that you’re moving forward on your 30-day plan. This goes for any goal you set — in life or in business.
