Kanye West saying that he wants to be a slave and will now be holding “slave master” auditions soon is satirical news. There is no truth behind a report that the outspoken rapper furthered his previous controversial slavery comments by announcing that he would now like to be one and would be auditioning white people to fulfill the role as “slave master.” Rather, it was just a distasteful joke.

Where did this satirical news originate? Huzlers published the satirical news article reporting that West continued his recent slew of outrageous comments by saying he would now like to be a slave and would like to start auditions for someone to be his “slave master.” You can read the satire below.

LOS ANGELES – It seems as though Kanye West cannot stay away from criticism, with thousands of fans showing their disapproval for his decision to support Donald Trump and recent political tweets, with the latest being him saying 400 years of slavery was a choice by slaves.

Kanye West has even gone as far enough as saying slavery must’ve not been that bad at all for slaves to “choose” to remain enslaved. And to go even further, Kanye has also announced that he plans to be a “slave” for a whole 3 months to prove his point. Kanye has also announced that he plans to hold auditions in Los Angeles soon to ensure that he hires the “perfect slave master”.

However, there is no truth to West saying he would like to be a slave and would be finding a “slve master.” Of course, there is no legitimate news coverage of such a wild and absurd statement. Rather, Huzlers carries the following disclaimer on its website clearly identifying its contents’ intentions:

Huzlers.com is the most infamous fauxtire & satire entertainment website in the world. If it’s trending on social media you’ll find it here!

Here are some examples of people sharing the satirical news on social media.

The satire comes at a time when West said, “When you hear about slavery for 400 years … For 400 years? That sounds like a choice. You were there for 400 years and it’s all of y’all. It’s like we’re mentally imprisoned.” For West, provocative statements are second nature and part of his brand. Earlier, West made headlines for proclaiming his love for President Donald Trump.

His comments immediately evoked a passionate response from TMZ staffer Van Lathan, who was in the newsroom during West’s rant. Since those comments, users on social media started the hashtag, #IfSlaveryWasAChoice. Some on Twitter used humor to deal with West’s controversial comments.
