But as apps become even more commonplace, so do their distracting or inefficient features. To improve engagement with their mobile apps and encourage further downloads, businesses may want to look into getting rid of a few of these features first, starting with these eight listed below.

One feature I expect to see mostly gone from mobile apps within a year is contact forms. Many businesses are switching over to in-app chatbots and live support.
