5 Social Media Marketing Tips for Blogging Beginners.

Social Media Marketing has already become the new age weapon.

Not just for bloggers or marketers but it has also proved to be the best personal branding method for big companies, individuals and even celebrities.

But is it the same for everyone?

When you start a business or just a website, you have a different priority i.e. different targeted audience, so how can use the same social media marketing strategies for different people?

In this post, I will tell you about 5 Social Media Marketing Tips for Bloggers and Marketers who want to grow their social media reach and influence.

Deciding Your Platforms

Before you start social media marketing, you have to decide the platforms that you need to use.

Deciding your platforms should totally depend on what kind of niche are you dealing in and not what platform do you like.

For example, someone who deals with the photography niche, Instagram and Pinterest are the best options for you.

But if you are someone like me, dealing with purely business and marketing based stuff, LinkedIn and Twitter are the best platforms.

Now, when you decide the platforms, keep it just about 2–3 platforms. More than 2–3 platforms can also result in severe backfire.

Visual Marketing

Visuals tend to get more views and engagement than normal text-based posts.

Especially when you’re new to social media, try to share more image-based contents than just the text ones.

Sharing images related to your blogging niche can help you engage with more like-minded people.

The first step in any marketing strategy is to attract people and images are the best way for this.

Storytelling is trending right now.

Using storytelling in your social media posts adds the emotional touch to it.

When someone reads your stories, they start to relate themselves to it. It conveys about your personality and brings your brand as the leader in your niche.

Quality Content

Whether you use storytelling or write a listicle, quality is the first thing that matters.

Your content should be original and useful.

You’re a blogger and people visit your blog so that they find something that could help them, they trust you and you should never ever break their trust.

People start to follow you or your brand when they get benefitted from your content, no matter it is your blog or your social media profile.

Target Engagements and not Sales

When you use social media to help your brand make sales, you need to value engagements rather than sales.

Engagements are the route to sales.

When you value engagements and not sales, you value making trustworthy relationships and that leads to real customers.

Try interacting with 5 people a day through your social profiles and see how many people buy from you.
