Because, first impressions, do last FOREVER.

Let’s be honest.

When it comes to pulling out our wallets, we all have standards, right? I mean, we’re not going to give in to the first sales pitch we hear. No one does that.

So, don’t expect it from your prospects either.

I know. Sales pitch matters. But how your audience see your product also matters. Sometimes more than the pitch itself.

So, in this article, I’m going to tell you how you can make sure that your audience ‘see’ your brand or business in a good way, and how you can make a good impression.

1. Every element you use, MUST BE OF HIGH QUALITY.

No exceptions and NO EXCUSES. Whether it’s our profile picture, cover image, background image, website, sales copy, videos, audios, adverts, and/or any other element.

Surprisingly enough, people can identify crappy stuff these days. Especially when it comes to stuff on the internet. Whether it’s a stock image, a low-budgeted graphic, or something else.

So make sure your name or bran doesn’t associate with ‘crappy’ stuff. Because it turns people off.

2. Find more than one ways to create content.

Content is KING, and it always will be.

A friend of mine asked me a while ago, “Why don’t I get and leads? I’ve got a completed LinkedIn profile with a lot of endorsements and recommendations. I have a over the top sales page that really taps into the prospects’ minds. I’ve got it all. But I don’t get enough leads, and sometimes, at all.”

I asked, “Well, how often do you post content,and in what forms?”

He said, “I update my blog about once a week, and I Tweet and Facebook like once a day. That’s about it.”

I told him to crank up his posting to once a day, and start producing LinkedIn content, and I got him to start a podcast.

Guess what?

His leads got 10x’ed, and he got 5 retainer contracts in just 3 months. Now, he’s a leading real estate agent in the area.

That’s on a local level. Imagine what can be achieved on a global level?

3. Work on your (and your employees’) email signatures.

Every brand, business, and company who knows what they should do, has their own letterhead.

But almost nobody pays attention to the email signatures.

Is it because it’s located at the bottom of the email?

Don’t ask me. I have no idea.

But it’s really important. Whether it’s about lead generation, impressions, brand consistency, or whatever it might be.

If you don’t have one, create one. If you already have one, then make sure that it’s something more than just bunch of titles, and a plethora of contact information.

K.I.S.S. — Keep It Simple & Stupid.

Conclusion…

In this age, there’s a lot of noise in almost any given marketplace. So you need to have a strategy to differentiate your brand, in order to reach your target audience. These 3 tactics will help you with that goal, no matter what industry or marketplace you’re in.
